The Martyred Angels Foundation developed a unique approach to therapy utilizing different modalities to offer a holistic approach to healing for the family that traditional therapies do not provide. We utilize therapy partners along with holding a monthly support group for all program participants to achieve successful results. These are our trusted non-profit therapy partners that we utilize.

Spirit Horse and The Martyred Angels Foundation are honored to announce their collaboration to create the Martyred Angels Grief Support – A bi-monthly group for families that have undergone loss and are looking for support and healing. Each group utilizes Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy, process support, and trauma informed care to help families look for ways to heal and find meaning in their sorrow. This group is a six month group and is paid in full by the Martyred Angels Foundation with your generous contributions – A foundation set up to help families who are grieving and in need of our services through our own experience.

The Martyred Angels Foundation Grief Support Group Camps at The Paul Hummel Observatory Club is located on an existing Church Camp at an 8K’ high mountain next to Boulder, Colorado. The purpose of this program is to provide healing activities in nature’s setting and includes: Large Lodge with Commercial Kitchen/Meeting Room and Enormous Patio, Several Cabins, Men’s and Women’s Bathhouse, Archery Range, Observatory, Several miles of Hiking/Horse trails overlooking panoramic views of Boulder and Denver which will take a complete day, Star Parties, Campfire Group Talks and much more. This is the therapy that heals the soul and warms the heart. This is also a free service paid in full by The Martyred Angels Foundation with your generous contributions – A foundation set up to help families who are grieving and in need of our services through our own experience.

Grief Support Group Camps

We are proud to announce our partnership with The Paul Hummel Astronomy Club for the grief support group camps program. This program is in a private gated setting on around 300 acres, cabins, main building with commercial kitchen and patio, entire views of Boulder/Denver and the eastern skyline, entire views of the serenity our forests have to offer and the beautiful nighttime display in our skies, observatory, archery, outdoor grills and huge fire pit, miles of trails for horse riding/hiking, men’s and women’s bathhouses and much much more. We have included this in our programs as a retreat and a part of our horse riding/therapy program so families that are struggling can have a place to go and feel comfortable about getting the support necessary from others that understand the difficulties. This is a program designed for relaxation and wonderful memories. This program is a necessary resource for these families.

Equine Therapy

This program is very unique and specifically designed for families falling under the guidelines and requirements. To our knowledge there isn’t another organization in the United States with this area of experience, expertise, trained staff and resources available that we’ve created with Spirit Horse. We keep this program private and confidential regarding the families that get involved, with the ONLY exception being a signed approval from a family giving us permission to promote the progress and its success.
